Blackpool Con Woman Leaves Local Businesses With Trails Of Debt

A Blackpool business woman has left fellow small businesses in mounds of debt having refused to pay for their services.  Katie Myers, who operates Myers Family Vlogs on all social media platforms, left her mark when told she would be seen in court when she replied, “good luck with that, I’m on UC.”

Katie Myers had been running Myers Family Vlogs for approximately four years, amassing over one hundred thousand followers across Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, even leading to winning the first ever Content Creator Awards at the local Fylde Coast Community Awards 2024.

Having had unprecedented success throughout 2025, Myers excitedly announced the launch of her brand new merch range in December.  Her mugs, which bore the beautifully designed logo ‘Myers Family Vlogs’ and her signature catchphrase ‘Hello Lovelies’, were the talk of the internet.

Myers received praise over the launch, including her website which she attributed largely to the help of her youngest son.  Along with the praise from her ‘lovelies’, she also received a good amount of hate which is par for the course on social media.  However, what if that ‘hate’ is not just ‘hate’?  What if it is someone with a genuine real life issue with Katie Myers?

Frankie Couzens was the mastermind behind the entire launch of the Myers Merch.   From designing the logo, to the website, to coming up with the launch strategy, including pre-launch teasers; Myers did not have to lift a finger.  She was happy to leave it all to Mr Couzens and his business partners.  They were happy to help out a local business and a struggling mother of four.  Myers, afterall, was simply trying to better herself and provide for her family who had not had the best of luck.  They deserved a break, right?

As Myers prepared for the launch and wowed her supporters with her new venture, little did everyone know but behind the scenes things had taken a turn for the worse.  Her relationship with Mr Couzens had broken down.

When the website went live and she received so much attention for her incredible design and website, Frankie Couzens took a stand, listing all the things he had done to help Myers before quipping:

“… without as much as a shoutout or mention or a proper thanks while they sit on their arse..

To make matters worse, Myers immediately deleted the comment and blocked him on all social media platforms.

But what really happened?

According to Katie Myers there was nothing amiss.  She had paid the £500 for the mugs and would continue paying in instalments.  That was the agreement they she had with them and she was sticking to it.  She was staying tight lipped about the whole affair while her good name was being dragged all across the internet.  The truth would be out soon though, so she would remain dignified.

However, it seems the truth is much more than remaining quiet and hoping it all goes away.

Several months ago, behind the scenes of her social medias, Katie Myers had been working on a project to continue her growth as a business woman.  She had agreed with a local business a deal which would enable her offer merch to her followers.  This business would pay for the merch up front and Myers would pay this in instalments at a rate of £500 per month. In addition to the cost of the physical product, she employed the services of social media marketing expert Frankie Couzens whose job it was to source the products, design the logo and the merch designs, set up the website, help with Myers social media posts and come up with a launch strategy.  Couzens did not require a fee for these services.  The agreement was that he would take a 50/50 split of the profits to cover his fees.

Now, upon the launch of Myers’ Merch things have gone sour.

Prior to the launch Myers was demanding a lot from an already overworked business team, insisting things were done whenever she told them to – a claim Myers refutes.  At this point, Couzens and his business partner told her to take a step back and just wait.  Myers response to this?  She blocked them both.

Not content with getting  a deal on services which would typically be outwith her reach, in a fit of rage Myers blocked the very people who had made this all happen for her.

When the website launched and Frankie Couzens saw she was taking all the adulation, he commented to state how much work he had put into Myers merch launch and expressed how he never even received so much as a ‘thank you’.  This comment was swiftly deleted and that account was blocked.

Frankie Couzens messaged her privately to let her know just how shocked he was at her actions / non-actions.  During this conversation Katie Myers stated that she would continue paying for the physical products as agreed but would not be paying the previously agreed 50/50 profit share.  This would leave Couzens out of pocket without payment for his work.  When she was presented with a revised invoice, to include his fees, Myers stated:

“Good luck with that, I’m on UC (Universal Credit)”

Since this has come to light Myers has taken a back seat and watched on while the ‘haters’ come out in force to discuss her wrongdoings.  She has revelled in the fact she has been ‘victimised’, adding to this by putting out the occasional video to worry her followers.

This isn’t the only time Katie Myers has had run-ins with local businesses.  The Fylde Flooring Company agreed to re-carpet her house for free.  They gave her a free roll of carpet worth hundreds of pounds with the intention of fitting it for her.  However, Myers appears unhappy with a recent comment by the business suggesting that they were doing this for ‘a family in need’ and not the collaboration Myers thought it was.

“Influencers have collaborations all the time.”

The many facets – or should that be ‘faces’ – of this story continues to rumble on.

    1. Good luck with that i’m on UC! There’s nothing within this article which is made up or intentionally false. If you have another side which proves this as misinformation, tell your side.
