Authentic Italian Spaghetti Bolognese


This classic Italian dish will bring the perfect taste of the Medditerranean to your kitchen.

3 Carrots
3 Celery Sticks
1 Medium Onion
500g Minced Beef/Turkey
400g Tin Chopped Tomato
30ml Red Wine
30ml Milk
400g Grated Cheese

1. Dice the carrots, celery and onion. Place them in a medium-large pan and fry in a little oil for approximately 5 mins.
2. Add the mince to the vegetable mixture and brown for approximately 5-10 mins or until completely browned.
3. Add the wine and simmer for approximately 5 mins until almost completely dissolved.
4. Add the milk for approximately 5 mins until almost completely dissolved.
5. Add chopped tomatoes, making sure all is mixed in nicely.  Add a little salt to taste.
6. Bring to boil a large pan of water, cook spaghetti for approximately 10-12 mins.
7. Drain pasta and serve with the bolognese sauce, topped with grated cheese.
