Growing up I longed to be Luke Skywalker. Waving that blue or green lightsaber, heroically saving the day, striking down all who confront me. That was the dream. The hero.
It wasn’t only Luke who drew me in of course. Han Solo was another brave hero. Perhaps Obi Wan Kenobi? Even little Wicket the Ewok holds a special place in my heart.
But who do I really think I would be if I truly were a Star Wars character?
- Luke Skywalker – cool, calm, collected, heroic, brave
- Han Solo – Brave, suave, heroic
- Chewbacca – Brave, heroic, growly
- Princess Leia – Brave, Leader
- Obi Wan – Mysterious, knowledgeable, intelligent
- Darth Vader – Dangerous, dark, brave, angry, hater
- Yoda – Small, cute, brave, intelligent, wise, secretive
- Wicket – Small, cute, brave
- C3P0 – Afraid, grumpy, follower
- R2D2 – Brave, follower
- Stormtrooper – Follower, weak-minded
Who do you believe you are based on those attributes? A quick glance tells me exactly who I am.. well, two possibles. Am I Luke as I dreamed or even Han Solo? No chance. Obviously I’d never be.

That’s it. I think i’m getting off this earth. Out of everyone listed, I resonate most with a stormtrooper. I’m a follower and am extremely weak-minded. I cannot ever tell anyone what I want and do anything I want for fear of upsetting people or facing any possible repercussions for my thoughts and views. It really is a bad life I have chosen for myself. I want out.

Threepio is afraid, terrified, anxious – just like me. I spend my days worried about something or other, anxiety ruling everythng. He is also a follower which I would definitely describe myself as being. Certainly not a leader anyway. This droid is also very grumpy, moaning at every given opportunity and anybody who knows me also knows that’s who I am.
